I just would like to ask if anyone is receiving RCOE payments. I submitted my paperwork on time for March and April is now over. I still have not received payment. Is it normal to wait about two months before getting payment (because I worked the entire month of March and April has passed too)? If it is, I do not think I can afford another subsidy program.

Are you new to their program. I was told, when I first started accepting RCOE, that it can take up to 60-90 days to receive your first payment.

It all depends on when your paperwork is in their system, the parents' paperwork is current.

But, I have never not been paid. I hope that helps

Actually, I am somewhat new to the program. I started with RCOE about 3 months ago but this is the 2nd time they have been this late. I called today (payment still not received) and they told me that they are now short of staff due to layoffs. Thanks for letting me know that it is normal to wait 60-90 days. I did not know that it took so long.

I invoice the last day of the month and get the form in the mail, the last day of the month. I receive my payment the following month all the time. I have been on RCOE for about a year now. I do not know about a 60-90 day policy. Maybe this is for new providers.

I mailed mine in the 1st month, and it took almost 60 days. I walked my paperwork in the next month and got it about 7-10 days later.

I will be walking in tomorrow.

I get so mad at them. I know a provider that gets her payment 15 day after submitting it. It alway take over 30 days. I call every month. They told me that they have until the 30th day to make payment, then they told me something different the next time.

RCOE is never consistent with me. Some months I've gotten paid within two weeks after sending in my billing statement and other months it took almost two months before I got paid. I get so upset with them because none of the employees can give me any helpful answers like when is my check going to be mailed out to me or why is it late, and I have bills to pay too, children to feed which include my kids and the daycare kids.

I think providers need to bond together like they did years ago and went to the press about late payments with any agency. This is ridiculous Yes we have bills too and how do they expect us to first do the work without pay for at least one month and a hlaf before we get one check. (NOTICE WE TURN IN INVOICES AT THE END OF THE MONTH WITH NO PAY A PAID PARENT COULD'NT DO THAT) Shocked
