Honey is a good remedy for pink eye (honey has antibacterial and antiviral properties). Put one to two drops in affected eye, about 3 times a day. If for a baby, child or someone who cannot stand the honey, then boil one cup of water to every two teaspoons of honey. Allow the solution to cool down and drip a few drops in the eye. This solution can be used for a few days, apply three times a day.
I am aware that most infections especially the viral ones, will clear up by themselves after they run their own course. But speeding up the process can be relieving to your baby/child from the aggravating symptoms.

Hi moreno,
Another good remedy for pink eye is black tea. Boil water for tea bag and soak tea bag in water. Then dip cotton into water and place onto sore eye(s) three times a day. Will relieve discomfort and itching right away. Do this for a few days. If you do it when pink eye just starts, it will stop it immediately.
